Advertising: On Chotopia.us, we encourage you to share your creative and interesting Chotopia Blogs, Art, Videos and Forum Posts, but please keep in mind that sharing sites that are not related to Chotopia in anyway is prohibited.

Alcohol/Drugs/Sex: Any talk about alcohol, drugs, and sex are prohibited on Chotopia. Chotopia is a safe place where kids can hang out without worrying about all of the potential dangers in life.

Asking for Items: We have many wonderful games for you to play on Chotopia, through which you can earn plenty of bugs to purchase clothing and furniture for your Chotopia home. Please don’t beg other players for items as they worked hard to purchase them.

Asking for Agency: Becoming a Chotopia agent is a great goal to have and we encourage everyone to try their best, however please do not ask to be an agent. Asking moderators to make you an agent will lower your chances of becoming one in the future.

Bad Language: To make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe in the Chotopia game, using inappropriate language is strictly forbidden. If you wouldn’t say a word in front of your parents, grandparents, or teacher, then do not say it on Chotopia.

Bullying: Chotopia is meant to be a fun and friendly environment for children, therefore we forbid any form of bullying or harassment taking place that might offend or disrupt another player’s gameplay.

Cheating: We want all users to play on Chotopia in a fair and fun manner, therefore the use of 3rd party programs to gain an unfair advantage by any means is disallowed, as well as using alternate accounts to obtain points and/or items in contests we hold. Also, please keep in mind that taking somebody else’s work and claiming it as your own is not acceptable either.

Dating: Chotopia is a family game targeted for children from 7 to 14 years old, therefore we do not allow dating or any sexual actions to take place on the game.

Personal Information: Your safety and personal privacy is our top concern. You are not allowed to share personal information such as emails, social media, addresses, and phone numbers. Do not ever ask others for personal information as it might threaten the security of another player.

Scamming: Scammers are permanently removed from Chotopia servers without warning as scamming other users is strictly forbidden on the game. All scammers should be reported, with proof, to support. Scamming does include buying items for friends, then refunding your purchase.

Spamming: While we want you to share your mind on Chotopia, please refrain from flooding the room with useless clutter. Spamming can be typing messages containing gibberish, or just sending a lot of messages repeatedly to cause lag or disrupt someone’s gameplay. Using the music instruments repeatedly can also be considered spamming, so please be careful.

Rule violations will result in suspensions placed on your account.
